Proper Cart Placement

Managing waste effectively is crucial for maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Please follow these guidelines:

• Have your cart(s) at the curb the night before your scheduled pick-up day.
• Face the lid opening toward the street - handle toward the house.
• Leave 3 feet between each cart or place the cart(s) on each side of your driveway.
• During winter months, please keep your cart(s) clean of snow or other obstructions and place them at the end of the driveway or boulevard so snow trucks won't run into them.

Banned Materials

Please adhere to this list of items we will not accept:

• No hazardous waste (including but not limited to paints, solvents, and products containing mercury)
• Batteries of any kind (lead acid, rechargeable, and button)
• Tires
• Appliances (including but not limited to microwaves, fridges, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers, dehumidifiers/humidifiers, water heaters, and water softeners) We can pick up, or you can drop them off for a separate fee.
• Electronics (including but not limited to computers, monitors, printers, TVs, and copiers) We can pick up, or you can drop them off for a separate fee.
• Mattress or boxsprings (*accepted for an additional fee*)
• Motor oils, filters, and fluids
• Fluorescent and HID light bulbs
• Asbestos waste, including vermiculite insulation
• Medical and radioactive waste
• Agricultural chemicals
• Septic tank pumpings
• Sludges of any type
• Vehicles of any type
• Yard waste (sticks, trees, branches, lawn clippings, etc.)
